A 250th Birthday Ball for the
American Experiment

July 4th, 2026  ·  Sea Cliff

For one night, we celebrate the romance of America: the rebellion that started it, the ideals that still haunt us, and the eternal argument over who we aspire to be.

Dress Code: Black tie with a hint of treason

FAQ

FAQ

What is the dress code?

Black tie with a hint of treason. Dress as though you might toast the republic, argue with a monarchist, seduce a spy, and become the subject of a forbidden diary entry.

Think velvet jackets, silk gowns, military details, white gloves, heirloom jewelry, colonial mischief, old-world glamour, and anything fit for signing a declaration.

This is not a 1776 cosplay. A tux or gown is fine — just add one rebellious flourish.

What can I expect?

Part ball, part revolutionary salon, part candlelit conspiracy.

Expect spirited debate salons on the future of the American experiment, dancing that gets less civilized as the night goes on, two full bars pouring revolutionary-themed cocktails, and enough old-world glamour to make history feel dangerously alive.

There will be mischief, beautiful arguments, dangerous opinions, and one gunpowder-adjacent surprise at midnight. Along the way, guests can join Catch a Loyalist, a Mafia-style game of accusation and betrayal, or Seduce a Spy, a roaming mission to charm hidden agents of the Crown into surrendering secret intelligence.

How do the debates work?

Throughout the night, two intimate debate salons will rotate topics every 30 minutes, each with room for about 12 guests. On the third floor, we'll also host a larger main-stage debate. Wander in when a question catches your attention; wander back out when the music, cocktails, or mischief call.
